Ron Paul Wins Debate in New Hampshire

Ron Paul started out the New Hampshire Republican debate emphasizing the fact that he is the anti-(Iraq) war candidate to thunderous applause from the crowd. (Gee, I thought Republican voters were supposed to be obedient little Kool Aid drinkers sipping up their daily dose of pro-war Kool Aid from Hannity and Rush.)

The neocons in charge of the debate were very condescending and dismissive of Dr. Paul throughout –at some points laughing at Paul (reminiscent of Al Gore’s arrogant smirking during the 2000 presidential debates). Almost every single question put to Ron Paul was prefaced by a neocon lie. In one case, the neocon questioner asked Ron Paul how we could leave Iraq knowing there will be a blood bath if we do. Ron Paul pointed out that neocons have been wrong about everything in the past and they’re wrong about what will happen if we pull out. Big applause. Ron Paul called for a total pull out and stated there was no need for US troops in the Mid East. Big applause again.

"America:Freedom to Fascism"- New Movie in U.S.

Aaronrusso
Film director Aaron Russo has produced a compelling new movie entitled “America:Freedom to Fascism.” In a recent interview Russo explains the reasons why he decided to produce this documentary in light of the advancing fascist agenda in the United States.

There has never been so many advocacy groups in the U.S. than there are today. The number of anti-establishment groups evoke memories of the 1960’s when there was fierce opposition to the Vietnam War, draconian marijuana laws, and to the beginnings of a corporate takeover of the United States.

However, Russo explains that in order to make changes in society, people have to become more aware of what is going on- and the real enemies are the government, the multinational corporations and the banks.

According to Russo, the one overriding concern should be for the termination of the Federal Reserve banking system in the United States- for the “Fed” is the head of the beast which has created billions of dollars of debt and placed the it squarely on the backs of the American taxpayers.

Basically the Federal Reserve has nothing to do with the American government, and is simply a corporate bank comprised of directors from all of the private banks. The United States government gave up the right to print its own currency in 1913, and since that time the government borrows money from the Federal Reserve at high rates of interest. It is no coincidence that the IRS(Internal Revenue Service) was established at the same time- since the government needed some way to pay the interest to the Federal Reserve.

Essentially, every time more money is “printed” by the Fed and put into circulation, the interest begins to accrue, and the government collects income taxes(which Russo illustrates is unconstitutional) to pay the interest. Hence the future of the country and indeed the future of all Americans hinges on the illegal actions of the Federal Reserve.
